Approach to Therapy
I prioritize getting to know my clients and building a relationship that feels collaborative and supportive, because we truly are partners in the process. I’m deeply invested in my clients’ growth and want them to feel that we’re working together every step of the way.
You'll want to work with me if you like a personalized approach, based on a genuine relationship and you want to work on; how you think, how your body feels, and how you navigate relationships. All three of these shape each other constantly and I provide support, education, and guidance in how to make them function better together.
My approach is action-oriented and goal-driven, without being rigid. We build a direction together, you leave with something to work on, and the goals evolve as you do.
Sessions are informed by cognitive awareness, relational awareness, nervous system literacy, and physiological health; a whole-person framework that's a bit different than traditional talk therapy.
